The world will never be the same, our hearts ache from a four-hundred-year-old wound that is still bleeding today. Our hearts break for George Floyd in Minnesota, Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, Breonna Taylor in Kentucky, and all victims of racism. Foghorn stands behind and alongside our fellow Black team members, colleagues, customers, partners, and the entire Black community.
The world will never be the same, and if there is any good news; this is it. The rusty gears of progress, lubricated by tears and sweat of those who most suffer injustice have finally broken us free from complacency and started to move us forward once again. We are moved by this movement and inspired to assist in any way we can and embrace the opportunity of now.
The world will never be the same, and we still have more questions than answers. Our search for answers begins with a moment of silence. Silence for all those in pain. Silence, so we can hear the message of the whisper and roar of the moment. We are eager to listen and learn. What can we do?
The world will never be the same, and we want to be allies and agents of change. The cloud is a powerful tool for connection. We know how to harness the power of the cloud. Inspired by recent events the entire team at Foghorn are listening and searching for ways to use our expertise to do our part to help push humanity forward faster.
The world will never be the same, and we join you in this call to action. We seek to deepen our understanding, use our talents, assist healing, and encourage progress. We are searching for ways that our caring cloud engineering team can assist with racial justice, inclusion, diversity, and Black student mentoring efforts. We are inspired to help, and will fill you in as we progress.
